![]() And even if I go back and watch the previous episodes (and log them as I do so), the show won’t show up on my “watch next” list-meaning I have to search for it by name every time. The only other issue I have with the app is if I’ve watched a current season, but haven’t watched the previous seasons of a show, the app will show that I’m “up to date” with it. Other than this the app is pretty great, but lately it’s been a hassle to sometimes have to reload the app multiple times before I can log/rate/etc an episode I’ve watched. When my watch list will load, the season/episode info or the info for individual episodes will often fail to load. This app is great for keeping track of TV shows I’m watching (and now movies too) but lately the app crashes a lot while loading my TV watch list. Mostly Fantastic App with a frustrating bug Also, the explore tab has been really important to me, cause I don’t have to sit down and spend time reading reviews of new tv shows, I just start watching! Kudos to the developer, you’re awesome! I mean, I feel a little bad it’s free. Now, you just got an amazing social networking experience inside the app that is incredibly easy to talk about your favorite tv show with an entire community. ![]() Now about the social network! Before using TV Time, tv show nerds had to resort to groups on various social network that you had to a lot of digging to find, to join the fandom. The Watchlist tabs provides for an easy way to see what you gotta watch, the calendar view makes it really easy when the next episode of your favorite show is gonna air, the profile tab makes it easy to customize how you show up in the app’s social network. I cannot say it enough in how many ways it’s far more superior than any other app in its category. So naturally, I searched for an alternative and found TV Time. When I switched to the iPhone a year ago, I was sad ‘cause my go-to app then for TV show tracking, SeriesGuide, was not available on iOS. I have to get back to my place every time and it’s frustrating. Or maybe even just anticipate the shows that are premiering and make sure they are going to be available when it airs □□♀️Īlso, the refreshing every time I switch apps is pretty annoying. I’m not sure if the app is just not being synced super often or what, but I would love for an easier way to submit a show request WITHIN the tv time app itself. ![]() ![]() I saw that you can create an account on some website and submit a request or add it yourself because that’s where they sync their data from, but honestly the website seemed nightmarish to navigate on my phone browser and that’s a lot of work for the user to have to do. Now, at least two of those are pretty brand new, just came out in 2020 I believe, but I’ve had reminders from the app before about upcoming shows and seasons so I’m not sure why the delay. However, in the last week or two alone (never had this problem before) 3 different series I’ve watched haven’t been on the app :( I LOVE lists of any type, so to be able to track all of my shows and now movies I’ve watched is amazing! I especially love the social aspect of the app, being able to read and comment on each episode and share theories or thoughts with other people who watch the same shows as you. ![]()
